Steel Helmet Based on a Medieval Knight
This was a recent piece which strayed away from animatronics but stayed firmly in the area of film/TV props. The helmet was made from steel and aimed to be as true to the original as possible, including riveting.
Forgot to take pictures at the bending, cutting and riveting stages.
Bluing
A very formal knight
Heating the metal up to give a good bluing effect.
